How do I prepare for this treatment?

Avoid aggressive skincare products like retin A and retinols 5 days prior to treatment. Daily use of a broad spectrum SPF 30 or higher is recommended before and after treatment. Exercise, steam rooms, very hot showers, and excessive sweating should be avoided for 24 hours after treatment. Additional instructions will be given at time of procedure.

What should I expect during and after treatment?

Your microneedling treatment will be performed by your highly trained and certified Aesthetician. They will prep the skin and apply a BLT cream topical anesthetic, to assure maximum comfort during the procedure. To start the treatment, your Aesthetician will glide the microneedling device across the skin while the dozen of sterile needles in the device are oscillating up and down. During the treatment you can expect to feel a sandpaper like sensation. Immediately after the treatment you will experience redness that can last up to 42 hours. The entire treatment takes approximately 60 minutes (this includes numbing time).
